Update on new 400 Scrammy!!!! Did a compresion check and was at 90psi so took it apart for a topend.Took the clutch cover off to see what clutch springs were in it and it has a brown primary and stock secondary. But all the buttons on the primary are GONE.Took the cylinder and clutch in to the shop to get redone. Found out the pipe on it IS a Dynoport and it is jetted with a stock pilot jet and a 230 main jet.

That things got some nasty rust on it, ill give it that much. Good buy still, Id suggest in a HPd pipe in the future. Its a night and day difference between the stocker

It is for my wife so it dont need to be real hot.And like I said it is a Dynoport pipe.If Ido change it it wil be to a Aaen topend or a RcR trailpipe. But she likes it like it so I am happy.

I've run a Dynoport pipe before and really liked it. Keep in mind that they dont turn any more rpms than the stocker, but the HP gain is still there.

Hey Bubba does that mean I can tone down the engagment and shift out and not loose any performance?Like to go with my Dalton blk/white(about like a Polaris green). Thanks for the pm I will do that when I get my cylinder back. The carb is jetted with a 230 main you think that is ok?You ought to have seen the primary clutch! No buttons left.......ouch!I think it can be saved.

Brad, I ran my Dynoport with the white spring and s-55 weights (stock setup). The pipe turns the same rpms as stock, so the spring and weights need to correspond with that. You will probably find that it will accelerate faster with a setup that matches the pipes power.

Cool I have a white spring and that Dalton black/white that is rated almost the same as a green. But you think the white would do better? What is the scoop on theDynoport pipes why doesnt anyone ever talk about them?

I really dont know. Dynoport makes pipes for snowmobiles which are also CVTs. The only thing I can think is that they dont raise the top speed of the bike like others, so maybe that's it. With the big torque gain you could go up one tooth on the front sprocket or down a couple on the rear and make up the difference

Just imagine how it will run when you get your new top end done. If it did that at 90psi just imagine what it will do now. Are you going to shave the head for more compression? It really helped out on mine and the wifes. Just a thought.
