the tld doesnt have as much top speed as the regular pred.i dont see 100 extra rpm's making a big difference so untill i see the race first hand im not going to start assuming one is faster than the other.we will know for sure soon enough..

I guess we will have to see. I guess what it boils down to is if this person has this quad....it's the best quad. But I guess other people don't see it that way....like me. I had a fast Scrambler....but I did not think it was the quickest quad on the earth. Then you have the people that every time they open their pie hole STUPID hits the flooor. These people don't have a Pred. or a yfz and probly have never rode one, and they like to put in their 2 cents worth , and they don't even know what they are talking about.

 

I agree with thewayout420.....I do want to see it. And as for *** the TLD it is slower then the std. pred. on top end. But the TLD will get there quicker.

No one is going to convince me of nothing unless I see it frist hand.

 

u talking about meeee!??!?! ive ridden a yfz and raptor not a pred but the yfz didnt impress me too much nor did the raptor i will stick wit my little 2 stroke till i get a pred

 

Seems to me that Hozed would be a pretty reliable source on comparing the Pred and YFZ. Being that, well, he does have one of each. Maybe his isn't a TLD, but I think he knows whats up.

 

tbsleeper.....No I was talking about you at all. And as far as having both quads......that don't mean anything. Every quad is different, and I don't think he has rode an 05 model. I guess what i'm trying to say is I don't know what the best quad is.........And I don't know if anyone knows. What people know and what they think is two different things. I'm not saying the Pred is going to beat the yfz, what i'm saying is I think it has a good chance.

 

Why isnt the TLD as fast on the top end?

 

i thought they are only changing 2-4? (so 1 and 5 are the same as the older ones?)

if 1 and 5 are the same, top speed shouldnt be affected.

I thought maybe he thought that they had lowered 5th, but like roost said they only changed 2-4 in the trans.
