i could also see it being an easy mistake to make, seeing as how DIRTWHEELS messed up too! lol... (they said that 2-5 were changed, and that the tld had a lower top speed than the standard verison...)

nope first and fifth gears are the same (as past years i suppose)
then only 2-4 are "close" ratio....
i wonder how that will affect getting into 5th... (im trying to think of how close the gears will actually be... i dont want to be shifting 10 times a minute...)

Talking to me, huh raj? Sorry, I've ridden a predator almost as many times as my raptor. And yes, there are quite a few quads out there that will beat me. As far as me being stupid? Don't think so. I built my motor. Who do you send yours to?

I build mine also. When I had my Scrambler I did send my head and jug off to RCR to have it shaved and ported. But as far as everything else I did it my self. I don't think I was talking about a Raptor either. I have a Predator tore down right now. I sent the carb. off to Nicholas Cycle. And i'm doing every thing else my self.

Njraptor......you said the same thing to me.....yes I can build my motor(I did on an old sport of mine(it had about 74hp).....) but I don't see the problem with sending your motor to someone else, especially if they know more about the motor than you do......should I be worrying about not building my own motor, I don't think so.....I have so far done all of the mods myself.....Once I get into the motor on my pred, I'll probably just let Doug take it(I plan on putting in a high comp piston, different cam, and some different springs too by myself).....but as far as building a motor that puts out some real hp(like making a 558cc pred......) I'll just let the pros, who have done it, do it......plus if something goes wrong, they might cover it........
