has anyone rode/bought a sportsman400 yet? How well do they stack up to the sp500? My hunting buddy has a sp335 and it is in need of a serious power upgrade. Does the sp400 give it that upgrade. I know that the ride will be plush.

Any other info will be welcome.

i dont think the sp400 is out yet. they have a 425cc engine, the same one used in the mag at one time. it should be much better.

I haven't ridden one, but I was at the Minnesota state fair last weekend and their was a polaris dealer who had a sp400 on display so they are out already. You will probably have to go to the dealer and test drive one.

Yes if you had ever heard of the Xpedition 425 that is the same engine. And people said that that engine could be lugged down in fifth and still pull out of a turn. If it has 25" tires it will have 11" of ground clearance. Hopefully it has EBS
