Today i fired up my quad and let it warm up. After i revved it a few times it wouldnt idle at all. I turned the idle screw up more and it would just continue to die if i didnt give it gas. Could it be because the weather got colder? Last year when it was cold it didnt do this and i dont see how i could have a carb boot leak because i havnt touched the boot all year.

 

is your etc adjusted right?

 

Hmmm i havnt checked that yet it should say in the manual how to adjust it so ill go look at it and let ya know what happens.

 

I did the etc test how the manual says to do it. I held the throttle slightly over idle and held the cable with my finger and let off the throttle and the engine died which it is supposed to do. I didnt see anything in the manual on how to adjust it so could my throttle cable not be adjusted right?
