stock scrammy 400 run 64-66 mph,while 400ex run 67-68 mph,
they're pretty close,it take a few hundreds dollars for the scrammy
to out run some faster bike then.

The Sport 400, Scrambler 400 2x4, and Trailblazer 400 are all just about the same thing with the same motor. I've had two 400s and that's one great little motor!

 

Some dealers still have new 03' 400 TBs for sale, i seen an ad here in MI. You could also buy a nice used one for a good price![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

manufacturors are phazing out two strokes do to recent emisions requirments from the federal government.

this is why I bought my 2 stroker, its also why you are seeing higher horsepower 4 strokes now.

 

This is one of the reasons Polaris is sooo stupid(the only one I can find).......they make a good quad, and then change the name of it about 4 times......how are they supposed to market it?? My dealer hates this. I mean, you all know of the Yamaha Banshee, or the Polaris Sportsman........why change the name?? Why not leave it at Sport??(and scrambler when it is 4x4)?????? I don't get it.

 

I agree also look at the Banshee same name same technology since it was first introduced in the late 80's. everyone knows what it is by the plastic alone.
