I have a 2001 Xplorer 400, and just ordered the Boyesen Rad Valve. It should be here Friday morning. The technical guy said I should change from stock jetting to a 200 main jet (Stock is 210). Any comments or experiences with this Reed valve and jetting? I've also noticed that the Delta V-force is very popular. All technical and "seat-of-the-pants" experiences and opinions are great. Also, has anybody else put this valve on an Xplorer 400, and if so, what did you think?

I had a friend put a Boyesen on an older 350 without any other mods and couldn't tell any difference. Let us know what it does for you.

I had the "V-Force I" reed valve installed on my Xplorer after getting 26" tires and it seems to run a lot smoother. It gained back most of the power lost by the weight and girth of the mudrunners.

It was a good mod to do.
