Replaced stock filter with K&N but having a hard time finding a prefilter for it. Have a 03 500 predator, going to the dunes, can anyone help me? Thanks.

 

I was thinking about the K&N also and was wondering why the stock prefilter would not work??

 

New to all this but do you mean using the old stock filter? This is the flat panel one that I'm seeking info. about. Thanks.

 

I have ran without a prefilter for 6 months on mine and no problems!!!

 

I noticed that you have a jet kit installed, did it make a difference?

 

If ya put a k&n on you need bigger jet to make up for more air!!

My buddy has a K&N on his Pred too and was looking for a prefilter for it also. We ride in dusty conditions and muddy wet conditions too and he is really in need of one. If anyone knows the part # (if they even exist) please let me know also

 

i dont think they exist. there isnt a filter to wrap to speak of... i am sure some of that material can be rig up somehow to work.

 

first of all get a uni
