correct its what we use in our mercury outbards and our sl1050 polaris PWC and sltx polaris PWC. It says 2 stroke oil, we also use it in lawn equipment and I used it in my old zuki three wheeler.
its actually what my dad was advised is the same, but its not amsoil or anything fancy its from Wal Mart and my dads pretty thrifty. I beleive its Wal Mart brand even, but the bottle I used is a 40 minute drive from were I am so I can't verify the name. Keep in mind if you stock a product at Walmart, meaing if Wal Mart sells your product, you have to on request produce Wal Mart a product of equal or greater value for Wal Mart to sell as its housebrand. Wal Mart washer machine detergeant is made by Tide. The old roy dog food is made by purina. Just figure I would point that out. Being a Wal Mart invester I know how they set up there contracts and how aggresive they are.
I have no idea were they get there oil, but it has to be made by a quality company. Walmart gets to choose who makes there house brand ex: valvoline, penzoil, mobil1 etc.
I personally have used amsoil in cars in the past and like mobil1 better it always appears cleaner when I do changes. just my opinion.

SnowWolfe,
I am near Talkeetna; Appreciate your comments re TCW-3 oils. My Polaris 340 snowmachine has done great on Castrol Snowmobile oil. I have used the last of the gallon of Polaris blue I got when I bought my 6x6 and plan to use the same Castrol oil in it.
Sure wish it was colder today! We've gotten 8 inches of snow in the last 12 hours, and this wet stuff is hard to push.

its blue feels like it has the same viscosity as the factory stuff. I havn;t had a chance to ride or change it, so I will consult my dealer for the final ruling. hey after all if something goes wrong he will fix it anyway being a friend and we trade work between the two of us.
