Hardly...and far from the best even then. I bet I can stick a spark arrestor/quiet in mine and I'll bet the farm I'll take a dookie on the PP.....

 

You can bet, but if you haven't tried it, why make that statement? Get the pipe legal, then talk.

 

funny how you guys say the wb/pure polaris pipe is not the best, but you don't say what is.............lets hear it?????


Remember we are talking slip on's here..........NOT full systems(ie: HMF, HPD, LTE,etc.....)........


I do think that Rath's exhaust(slip on too) is going to beat the wb pipe though.........

 

Last time I checked the only things I'd buy where things that I thought were best.....and if you havnt notifed in my pic gallery if Im not mistaken that seems to be an HMF hanging off the subframe of my Pred. AND I AM SPEAKING OF SLIP-ONS AS WELL.....

I think it comes down to what mods you have done to your motor. Several companies say that the pure polaris/white bro's pipe is the best slip-on pipe you can get for a "STOCK" predator; which they also have dyno #'s to prove it. But the same companies that say this also say that if you do any modifications to the engine itself then there are many other pipes that will do better because the back-pressure requirements change when you get away from "STOCK" form. I dont think there is a "BEST" pipe for the predator..... just the best pipe for the situation that you engine requires at the time.... engine modded or not. But I will say that I have had an HMF and a White Bro.'s pipe on the 03...both w/ the same modifications and the White Bro's w/ 12 disks has much more power gains then the HMF.

 

I agree.....the wb is one of the best slip on's........I have seen many guys around here with StageII kits still running a modified version of the wb pipe.......So explain to me this, if they had the money(which they obviously do to get a stage 2) then why wouldn't they get the best??


They(most of them) have now moved up to a rath header.......

 

Good question...... a better question would be is why does HardRock Motorsports sell their Stage 2 kits w/ a white brothers pipe? Maybe to help keep the cost down a bit? Maybe because the gains w/ another pipe just arent that great w/ those modifications to be worth another $50 price hike? I'm sure there is a reason for this. I will say they are one of the companies that I have talked to about pipes for the predator....... they seem pretty knowlegable about them.... along w/ Rath........ <---- understatement of the year.. LOL

 

I agree again...........the builder I was talking about was Doug Nicholas's son(and many of his riders)...........I'm sure he knows what he's doing......
