Kimpex have been making heated hand and thumb warmers for years and are great products. I've put them on my sleds years ago and have them on my Sportsman now with no problems......

I have the elements on my sportsman but have used the hot grips in the past on older sleds. If you look in my pictures, the one with the GPS, you can see the two switches on the pod, one for the handwarmers the other for the thumb warmer. Easy install, just heat up the grips, pull them off, clean the bar with alcohol, peal the backing off the elements and stick them on. Spray a little soapy water in the grip and on the element and pop the grip back on. Get the thumb warmer too, no good to have warm hands--cold thumb. This time of year I always have the warmers on low, great too if you happen to get your hands wet......
