btw... clamp ons have been known to make the pred loose power...

 

Hozed, I have not jetted it yet, or put the clamp on...on yet. The only thing I have done is put the Pure Polaris pipe on......every thing is going to be here friday. (I hope) I have not heard about the clamp on making the Pred lose power. I guess I need to do more research.

Kman01, watch that bumber when crossing ditches.....if your shocks are soft it will something dig into the ground.

 

Raj.........with Doug's mods(or someone else's) on the pred carb, you will be fine. The pred carb alone(stock) you will actually loose power due to lack of vaccume, I think. Lots of people have talked about this. You might talk to me before you do anything to the carb though(as far as spend money on it)........

 

So can I drill some holes in the air box for now? And maybe use the stock filter, or will I have to use a K&N? I can maybe get one at Auto Zone, or try to match it up. I will not be able to get a Twin Air before saturday.

 

o ya... i forgot that PP pipe doesnt need a rejet. imo, that means it gains very little power, which is tru.

Hey RAJ. I pick up my TLD next weekend and I was wondering how exactly did you break in your Pred. I have heard different ways but how did you do it?

 

I rode it some what easy for the frist hour, then changed the oil, then rode it like I would if it was a year old.

 

RAJ, I'm with you on how to break in a machine.
