what do you guys think of running a scrammy fan on a trailblazer. i was thinkin of mountin one close to the engine so wen ur riding aggressivly and not moving fast you can flip teh fan on or wen ur sittin still u can flip it on to help cool it down faster.. how do u guys think this would work?? is it worth it??

 

I think Talonhawk has a fan wired to hit 250. But then I think he has it run to his tranny intake.

 

It should work on a trailblazer they have them on 300 Explorers and the 4stroke trailboss.

The trailboss has an oil cooler with fan assist. Same with the express. TBSleeper just wants to hook a fan up to blow cooler air on to the motor. Not sure how effective it would be. It would have to push some seriouse cfm's to make a difference.

 

Polaris used to have a kit for the 250 trail boss that had a fan for better cooling dont know if there still avalible or not

 

I had my fans blowing into the clutch housing at first but they only dropped
the temp by about 8 degrees. So now the fans just blow across the top of
the head. I don't know about the newer models but the clutch exhaust port
on my 99 dumps hot air right at the head. So I have removed the port and
just installed a small round louver.

 

so does blowing air on the engine help cool it??? i ddint understand wat u were sayin

 

I would say that it does but it would be hard to prove.
