buddies predator broken again
#1
I had posted a while back about my buddies predator blowing a rod and now he's got some major problems again. He just got the thing back like a month ago and today while out riding he clipped a little tree and broke the case on the engine where the swingarm bolt goes through. Oil went everywhere of course. I don't know, this is my opinion, but I don't think it should have broken the case like that. I've seen guys wreck wheelers a lot worse than that and they didn't break the case where the swingarm bolt goes through. Maybe this is something you predator guys should watch for. Anywho, feel free to add comments of course.

I assume you are talking that he hit the rear tire(pretty hard) on an object that doesn't move. I could see how it would break the case, but I was hoping it wouldn't........that sucks, and will probably set him back some major money....

Yeah, they should outlaw those trees, jumping out and bashing up peoples quads like that..............of course its polaris's fault and now people say they make crappy product.........NOT........<geez you kids>
Lessons learned? Don't run into trees and your quad will be fine!

Prolly 15 more people could go hit the tree the way he did and it wouldnt happen again. One of those things that just happens...

I'll elaborate a little more. The tree he "clipped" was about 3 inches in diameter and he was in 2nd gear, not in 5th wfo. When I say clipped I don't mean he hit it straight on I mean he, well, clipped it. I also didn't say that it was junk nor did I say it was Polaris' fault. The actual reason I wrote it, and I even wrote this in the message, was so you predator guys could watch for this cause it totally messed up his day and yeah, he's gonna end up paying a lot to get it fixed.
