i just dont see polaris making a 700 cc sp like someone said why would polaris unseat its own from the top??? how could the tranny and the cv's hold up with 50hp?

As far as the CV and tranny holding up.with only 50 horses.My 700RMK snowmobile is TWIN with 145 horses pulling at it,and it holds up.CM

i believe its later this month like the 24 or 26th of sept. its in reno NV.
does any one live in reno that could "pretend" to be a dealer and get into the meeting to get the inside info??

where did u get the 2001 moose catalog? can u order it online? i thought i was only for dealers.

I talked to the MOOSE people in person at the Park Falls ATV Rally in Wisconsin Laborday weekend. There is going to be two different 6x6 models a 725 and a 500. Don't forget to look on page 31 to see for your self.

WOW its a 725cc twin that would be great in the sp6x6 too. also would be great in the ranger. polaris can only go 75cc larger cause 800cc is an ORV.

My local dealer said the 700 will come out as the Sportsman first, then as a Sport version to take the place of the 400 4X4 Scrambler.

I heard from a source in the Oceola plant, that this motor has been in development for some time. It was developed for snowmobile originally. It is also said to be 4 lbs lighter than the 500 motor and is a inline twin of the large bore short stroke variaty. This is all I could get out of him.

the 700 SP will be released, but I don't know when. It is not fiction, by any means. Rid'em Hard Polcat
