hey tyler711, just wanted to mention to you also that if you plan to plow mid to deep snow you may want to get the plow blade top extender or you could do what I did and take an old rubber bed mat used in the back of pickups and cut it between 5-6 inches wide by the length of your blade and use small bolts with nuts to attach the rubber to the top of your blade, my polaris glacier blade came with holes already in the top. it is amazing how much differance having the rubber top extender on the blade makes, it helps push/keep the snow rolling forward instead of getting alot packed in front of the blade and going over the blade. my next task is to either buy the side deflectors or make them out of rubber.

 

Silverbullet- i did add the rubber deflector that goes on the top of the blade, if that is what you are talking about. I saw the side deflectors, also, but thought that they might get in the way when angle plowing. if i see i need them, ill pick them up later.

MtPockets- i looked at the cab quickly while i was there, but couldnt see a name. It was black with all soft plastic windows and doors. When i go to pick up the 400 i'll look closer, i was in a rush last time.

still nobody answered, has anyone put a moose blade on their Glacier system? does anyone know if you can?

 

Has anyone seen the new Tusk (Rocky Mt. ATV) plow system, it looks similar to the Glacier with the mounting plate at a much lower price, under $500 w/a 1500 lb wench.

 

It doesn't look as solid as the glacier. I rammed stuff with the glacier that would have bowed any other style of plow frame. The glacier plow system is much stronger then I first thought it would be. The glacier also looks much easier.

 

Alright, picked up my atv tonight, the plow looks great, and im glad to have finally gotten the skid plates put on. the polaris handwarmers are great, they heated up real fast. It is dark, so i havent ridden yet, and no real snow yet, so havent tried it.

Anyway, MTPockets, i looked at that cab as closely as i could. It is made by TommyToppers. Made in USA, seems to be very very good construction. You can shake the whole quad by pushing on the cab. It was dark and snowing, so I couldnt make out too many details. I think it is a generic fit, and although not airtight, it looks like it would do very well in cold or inclement weather. I couldnt see how it mounted, but it was all soft plastic with what looked to be hinged doors (wire frame, still soft plastic.)

Actually, i just found their site: Clicky After looking at those pictures, i see that it is supposed to be strong. Also, it does appear to be a generic ATV fit. Maybe they can tell you a little more about the product, but from looking at it, i'd say it looked very high quality, but I can't say anything about functionality (leaks, loud, inconveniences, poor mounting etc) Good luck.

EDIT: price looks to be $703.12 for black (camo is only other color). If was willing to spend that kind of money on something like that, I might consider this one... but that seems like a lot of money for not too much product (frame and cover).
