Default Performance Question for stock TrailBlazer & Trail Boss

[b]Well I didn't get the Scrambler in the end since the guy wanted almost as much as a new one so I'm on the look out again Well my question is what kind of pulling power or acceleration difference is there between the stock Trailblazer and the Trail Boss 330. The 330 seems to have the same dimensions as the Trailblazer but a little more weight but then again it has a larger engine being a 4 stroke should have more low end torque right. Default Performance Question for stock TrailBlazer & Trail Boss

The 330 will have more torque while the 250 is quicker. They are both great trail quads. You can mod the heck out of the 250. So many aftermarket parts ant it seems to get better and better. I have both the 250 and 330. I hardley ride the 250 anymore. I really like the 330 even though it is not nearly as fast. The stock 330 will do about 45-47 mph max. The 250 stock will do anywhare between 50-55mph max. The 330 will pull you up a hill alot easier while the 250 will get you up quicker but can bog down alot easier with a big load or steep hill. I like the idea of the 330 being in the Trailblazer form.

Default Performance Question for stock TrailBlazer & Trail Boss

Hello Raziel. Both quads are rated by Polaris with the same tow rating of 850 lbs. I suspect both quads have similar trail capabilities. I have never seen my Trailblazer get stuck on any hill at any speed by lack of power. It will spin its tires if it stops going up a steep hill (this has only happened to me on the dunes). Presumably, the Trailboss has better low end torque, I would have to defer to 2manytoys on that one. 2manytoys, I don't doubt that you would rather ride the Trailboss on slow trails. I suspect your trailblazer is no longer usable at slow speeds with its high rpm porting and clutching. Both of my Trailblazers regularly are subjected to low speed crawling on the trails in Michigan. The 250 in stock form seems to be tuned for low and midrange torque. It is quite unlike most 2 strokes I have dealt with in the past. I bought my Trailblazers new this year. One thing that pushed me away from the Trailboss was the 2004 colors. I definitely prefer the 2003 colors of the Trailboss (its the same as the 2004 Trailblazer). The Blue with white wheels, I think looks sharp on both the 2003 Trailboss and the 2004 Trailblazer. The 2004 trailboss needs black racks and white wheels. I am very happy with my purchase and I think that anyone would be happy with either the Trailboss or the Trailblazer. The advantage of the Trailboss is the 4 stroke and racks. The advantage of the Trailblazer is lower cost, more suspension travel, lower weight and smaller turning radius. I would agree with 2manytoys about the combination of the 330 and the Trailblazer (but I don't want it to gain weight). Hope this helps.
