Default A 800 rolling on 28's!

A guy from the HL form just bought a new 800. It has 28in tires already on it! This looks like a monster for sure.

those are some great pics!

he doesn't list a lift kit. just spacers. wonder how wide a spacer he's running? ft and rear?

i question if 28" really work w/o a lift?

those are Outlaw tires right?

Yes they are Outlaws. He said there was plenty of room with out a lift! I don't know about the spacer, but from the looks of it the new SP's they will keep there title as the best mudders for another year!

I have the '05 700 EFI and running 27 inchers.....the machine will easily fit 28" without a lift. The only problem is the steering arm on the front end, so if you run wider than 9" tires on the front, you need wheel spacers...

here is a pic of mine with 27" tires/wheels...

I love those rims! How did your front rack extender turn out? Did Polaris ever get it right? I bought the extender when I got they bike (see pic 1 and pic 2). I don't ever use it, I just bought it because I thought it made the bike look better.

BTW I noticed you went from 589's to Mud Lites, what was the reason there?

well, called polaris last friday when i got back from Florida to find out they sent me another rear rack, still have it, suppose to pick it up....the second one....Polaris said they shipped the 'FRONT' rack, but looking at the tracking number they gave me, doesn't show that they shipped it yet.....

As far as the 589s and Mudlites....I have both, both sets mounted on type 5C wheels...

I was also thinking of getting a set of Maxxis Bighorn Radials....wondering how heavy they are, but think they would work really good around here during summer, for rocks, dirt, hard terrain.....

nice pic of the rack....i want to put the rack on to mount the Kolpin Gear Grips for my Bow during hunting season....can't put on the rear because of the amount of dirt that comes up in the rear, coats the bow with dirt, not a good thing....so needs to go on the front....

I also just added the lock and ride gun scabbard and mount, great item, take of in seconds and put back on....love it, going to go out and do some quail hunting this weekend with the H&K Silver Lion 20 guage O/U shotgun....

That guy is me. I dont post here much but saw this one come up in the forum. I dont have a lift kit at all. Only spacers are required for big tires. Up front as normal the struts will rub along with the tie rod ends with no spacers and 10.5s. In the rear my 12s would of hit the sway bar with no spacrers. They are the HL 1 inch spacers all around. That is the only mod to the quad right now. And yes 29.5s WILL fit with no lift. This is due to the redesign of the floorboards. Tons of clearance there.

As far as width goes, thats a 5 foot wide trailer. I havent measured the width but that should give an indication of how big it is.

As far as the question about the rack extension, the part number listed in the catalog for the front rack is actually the part number for the rear. I found this out when picking out my free $400 worth of accessories.

I posted a few more pictures tonight. If there are any questions or pictures you want let me know.
