With your description of what you want to do I would go with the scrambler. You said you wanted to go fast and go through mud if you had to so thats what I would pick.

If the you are talking about the 2x4 Scrambler, and not the 4x4....I would go with the Pred. It is a great trail quad and it's fast. Thats what I do is trail ride and play around on the drag strip. The Scrambler is a great quad also. If you look in my pictures you will see that I also had one.

with your two choices I would say go with the scrammy but if your wanting to do alot of trail riding why don't you go with like a 400 sportsman or something alon those lines. you can pick up an 04 dirt cheap right now for not much more than the scrammy.

It all depends on what you like.......racing, jumping or just in general motocross type riding then get the Predator. It is a 2WD, manual clutched geared tranny, light weight machine. Great for speed, acceleration, jumping etc..... BUT......It will get stuck in serious mud in the blink of an eye.

If you want a more versatile machine that will be capable of doing all of the above to a somewhat 'less nimble' degree.....BUT.....have 4WD, auto tranny, and be able to go through the serious mud and just in general be a great (and fast) trail riding machine.........then get the Scrammy.

Good Luck, Bob
