Default Is The Pred CRAP

I've always like the look of the Pred. Ive heard alot of people say that it sucks. Ive thought about buying one. Is it a good quad for the money.

Yes, it's a good quad. If you're going to compare it to a Warrior, then it's a damn awesome, kick *** quad! Not even in the same league. If you wanna come over here and ask a serious question, you'd best not use ? in the title.

no, it doesnt suck, the predator 500 is a great quad, the only real downfall is its weight.

WHAT! Not an mx machine? Are you kidding? It is a great mx machine. Out of the box it is probably one of the best machines out along with the 450's and Banshee. I see alot of these at mx tracks and they do great.

Well I have a Honda TRX 450R and a Predator 500. I would rather ride the Predator in the woods. The Honda's steering leaves something to be desired. Before the Honda guys start bashing me let me tell you why. The geometry on the front end of my Honda required me to calm it down with a steering damper and if you say yours does fine you should try riding the Predator in the woods for a couple of hours before bashing the steering. I don't feel the weight of the Polaris holds it down in anything other than racing. I still believe if a person wants to put it on a diet it would not be hard (ie get rid of the steel rear swingarm). The bike does not weigh much more than a Raptor and in recent magazine shootouts the Predator is kicking a lot of the other quads tails. Look to ATVRider, Dirt Wheels and others for confirmation on this. Finally they are getting around to woods riding and dune riding to do comparisons and this is the categories most of us here ride in.

I have had mine for a few months and I love it once I got the intake and exhaust dialed in I would never go back to stock.Sure you can race it in mx,but it's not a race specific quad(YFZ,450R) or ATK formerly cannondale,It's to bad people did not take to the cannondale because it is years ahead in technology but the market seems to be driven by cost. The predator is a good all around quad.
