Default handlebars crooked??

Set the bars straight before you start measuring. Then, run the string or straightedge fromt he rear tires to the front tires. It would help to have someone help you hold it too. Then, you can measure the toe in/out and adjust it through the tie rods

Default handlebars crooked??

A BIG THANK YOU! to bigbadscrambler..

Sure enough.. I measured and checked things out.. and I had one tire that was aiming the wrong direction.. adjusted it and wam bam thank ya mam! it is fixed..

And.... for anyone that ever needs to come close in there adjustment.. here's what I did.......

Hook up a long string to the rear axle.. then come around the side you want to check.. hold string low so it catchs the tread of the back tire.. then site down string and line up with the side of the rear tire.. then hold it still and compare how the front one is sitting.. adjust as needed.. repeat for the other side..

and THANK YOU AGAIN for the thelp Big Bad Scrambler.. you truely are.. big and bad!

Awsome!. I knew you could get it. Its always best to start with the easy things first

Its one of those live and learn things. My quad has NEVER been to the dealer and It never will. With a factory service manual, and the help of the people on the forum that have been through it, you can fix almost anything. That is how I learned and continue to share my experience so others can learn.
