I wish I could get back on it but I have no way to steer or use the throttle with my wrist in a cast! Besides - I am not smart enough to be scared of it! ;o) Crashing never freaks me out to be honest -I got over that years ago due to racing Superbikes.

My wrist is jacked up to and it has been like to months too. First time on a MX track I hit the second table top and completely cleared it. But the front end took a dive and I flipped over the bars and tore some tendons in my wrist. Quad ended up ok and I still ride but I stay off thee MX track till my wrist is back up to par.

 

I also, have been bitten. thoes front brakes are, infact very well built. only wound to my biike was a torn seat cover. me on the other hand, just a tender wrist

 

I know this is off topic, but Bradracer.....do you have pics of the '86 with the 650 motor? I would love to see it.
Revlimiter, sorry to hear about your misfortune, glad you made it out "mostly" Ok though. It definitly could have been worse.

 

A buddies got an 04 Predator and that things a beast. The Predators do have sharp teeth but I've never seen one bite before. The ones I've seen that bite their owners the most is the Raptors. Seen that a few times...................[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

 

A veteran is not a veteran till they flip hard!! Good to hear you are sort of alright. Next time you ride, remember before you do things like that, it just happends real quick and you have to be smart. Post some pics of the preddy!

 

Shane, sorry to hear. My first Quad is a Predator 500 and the S.O.B. bite me on my first ride! I took it up to Big Bear Mountain in So.Cal. A beautiful weekend in mind for camping and riding. The morning went great! More confidience in the afternoon, took it up a Blue Diamond trail, stalled out on the second hill, started it up gunned it and right on my back with the 470 lb Quad on top of me! Fractured my L2, and cused how stupid I was the whole ride home. After pain medicine and couple of weeks later, I took her out again. A new found respect for the Sharp tooth beast. Did I mention that weekend was also Sept. 11th. Anyways, my fault on the quad, DON'T sit down on a hill to start her. Feel better bro...

 

Thanks for the kind words guys! I am healing up well and the wrist is much better but ribs and spine still hurt like a ****! I am taking her for a 1st gear putt arounf the property today! Just need to get back on the horse ya know! I will post some pics shortly - it is almost totally stock right now but I have alot of mods sitting here waiting for testing. As soon as I can get some of them on I will post some pics!

I really want to take it to the Dunes out here in Oregon as I hear they are AWESOME for that! Once I heal up I think we will make a week-end trip out there and see if I can make a whole 2 days without breaking anything!!
