Default Question about goggles

I went the cheap route and just used Rain X anti fog. My helmet is full faced mx and I didn't think they made a shield for it. Would get too scratched up anyway.

Default Question about goggles

don't use the Rain-X anti fog, it doesn't work. I used it on my $20 scott goggles and it doesn't work, and I even used a good amount of the stuff and applied it a couple of times. just go out and spend the money on some good ski goggles, they are made not to fog. I bought a new bieffe snow helmet off dennis Kirk and it came with a breath guard but I still put the anti fog on the lens, it doesn't fog as bad as my goggles but that is due to having the breath guard. I would say go on www.denniskirk.com and get a new full face helmet. I paid $60 plus $6 shipping for a total of $66.00 and it was well worth it. just remember to go up a size from your dirt helmet. I wear a XL in dirt helmet but when I got my snow helmet it was tight due to the extra padding. I gave that one to my wife and ordered another of the same helmet in an XXL.

Default Question about goggles

I went with scott turbo flow goggles for riding snowmobile with a motocross helmet. I ended up taping about 3/4 of the holes closed because of getting too much new air into them (removing moisture / fog). I have never fogged up (moving). You might fog if you still still for a few minutes but once you start moving the air between the two panes clears the fog. About $30 for the goggles.
