My wife has a Bayou 220 and she hates it. It beats the crap out of her because it is so short wheel base and the suspension is hard. I want to get her another bike but I'm not sure what to get. I ride a Sportsman and she says it is to big for her. She's about 5'7", 130 lb. and fairly strong for her size. Can you guys give me any help?
Thanks,
Gsport500

326 Magnum 4x2 a few women around here have them and like them allot. my girlfriend is going to get one next spring. Sorry about that didn't look good sounded like i was bashing a Bayou, the Trail boss and Trail Blazer are good to, I owned the Xplorer 250 4x4 . she loved driving it,I should have kept it for her. And bought myslef one too. but at the time she did not want her own. 3 months later she does LOL but that is awesome that she does. she doesn't like to drive my SP either.

My wife rides the Xplorer 250 4x4. She's about the same size as your wife. And when she's not riding it, I Am. It's a light, nimble quad to ride. It's a whole different animal to ride. She would like it.
She would also like the Trailboss and the Trailblazer.

My wife has a 00' Trailblazer. She has come to this choice after a Blaster did not fit her style of riding. She loves the bigger size of the Trailblazer and the auto tran lets her focus on riding verses what gear she is in or should be in. She has been putting time in on my Scrambler 400 which has started her asking about adding power to the Trailblazer. Looks like a pipe and clutch are in my near future

We are very lucky guys that have Wives or Girlfriends that love to ride, I have some freinds who are not so lucky.

The 250 Xplorer is an excellent chioce! The Trail Boss is another choice if you want a cheap, mild powered quad. The 4-stroke is a dog as far as performance though. Maybe even look at a Trail Balzer?

My wife has been riding her 1999 TrailBlazer for about 2 years now and still loves it. We have had to put a pipe and clutch kit from RCR on it to keep her interest but she still loves the bike. I even take the TB for exploratory rides in the mountains due to its ease of use. Just my two and a half cents...

My wife has a 325 trail boss. This has plenty of power and handles fairly easy. She does not like steering my heavy Magnum, but she can do it. When we were looking for a quad for her this is how it went:

1. Had to be automatic. She hates shifting.
2. Had to steer easy.
3. Had to be a four stroke. She does not like the noise made by the two strokes.

This led me to the trail boss. Its a great quad for $3,300. If she would only let me modify the thing
