Default oil filter change on 2 stroke

Is there any special procedure for changing the in line filter on my 98 explorer 300? Do you have to bleed air from the lines afterward?I have not changed it since new. Thanks for any advice!

You should always remove any air from the oil line. Look in your owners manual how to properly bleed the line. My manual describes the procedure. On my quad, there is a bleed screw on the oil pump. It looks like the bleed screw is part #6 in the Ronnies diagram. Hope this helps.
