Why was the Cyclone discontinued?

SuperDuty335,
You must remember when it was made. 1987 was a VERY good year for Sport quads, The Banshee, Warrior, TRX250R, LT250R & LT500R were all made in that year. Ask your self, why would you want a Cyclone with all of those other machines around? This explains the dismal sales figures. I'm sorry to say, but it wasn't until much later that Polaris sport machines took off. 1995 was the first introduction of Polaris's second all sport machine the 4x4 Scrambler 400. It faired much better because it's only competition at the time was the Banshee.
