i have a cyclone motor on a 91 trail boss 2x4 frame. the 1st. problem is the pull starter spring pop off during the process of putting a new rope on. i got the spring off but now the rope will never coil all the way back in. how could i fix this. i put a trialboss 2x4 electric starter and it died and were could i find a new one cheap? i just overbored the cyclinder .60 over and how should i break in the motor and for how long. who makes a good aftermarket pipe? website?. can the hotseatperformance chain tensinor work on my 1991 trailboss 2x4 frame?

I would guess that you either didn't get the spring wound enough, or the rope is longer than the original....were you could probably just trim it off and tie a new knot. Wow, a Cyclone, that's gonna soon be a collector. I know HPD has a parts manual for one, but between them and Hot Seat don't know who would be familiar with a pipe for that setup.
