Best Tires For SP 800?
#2
go with the mudlites if you want a good all around tire. why do you want to switch tires, doesn't the 800 come with 26's. I have heard good things about the new polaris tires by carlisle, don't you like them.

This depends on your goal. If you are truely looking for mud tires then mudding takes up 100% of your riding. This would leave you with tires like the High Lifter Outlaws or Super Swamper Vampires. Personally I have mud tires and use the stock tires for non mud rides. In mud...yes bigger is better. The more clearance you have the further you will go.

W/O a doubt, the best mud tire would be Outlaws. they will take you anywhere you want to go in the deep stuff.
however, Outlaws are not designed for trail riding. very rough ride on hardpack.
but it's excellent, top-notch mudding abilities far outweigh the rough ride imho.

Read this thread: 800 on 28's
If they make these quads much bigger, I'll just put BFGs on!

Ask a opinion of tires and everyone has a different one! Most folks love what they bought but few folks have the money to say they are actually better than brand "x" or brand "Y" because we don't have the resources to test them side by side. The compound it with the fact most guys hate to admit they wasted there money and everyone says the tires they bought are the best,lol.......Good question but I dont see a answer
