ok, ive done a search, but im still not gettin the info i need
i read that it costs about 650 if you do it by yourself, but what is needed to be done?
if i sent it out to be done, how much $$....
do i need to put better fuel in?
where can i send it? (im in CT so wheres closest)

i think the only place you can send it would be four stroke tech since its there kit . I might be wrong though. but you need to get this kit and let me know what you think SOMEDAY im going to get a scrambler and i know i will want to know how well this kit works...i have only ever read about people wanting it and never about someone getting it..

I've been kinda savin up myself for a 600 kit. My guess is you'll end up needing to spend about $1200 before all is said and done. The kit was quoted to me at $575 not including shipping. Things I'd expect to need on top of the basic kit are(this would be on a stock Scrambler-on a self install):
1. machine work
2. new cam
3. new exhaust
4. air filter
5. carb/or carb work
6. seals and bearings
7. oil and filter/antifreeze
8. posible mechanical/shop help
These are not necissarily needed, But I can see you may not get full potential unless most of these are done. It'd be great if Mickey Dunlap could chime in with some advice. I could be full of it, but this is my guess.

I think the 600 kit is all bore and the 630 kit is bore and stroke. The 600 uses pump gas and the 630 uses race gas, I think.

teh 600 dosnt require splitting the cases while the 628 does so its obviously cheeper, im not sure if either of them are strokers, i was thinkin that they are both all bore? i may be wrong so dont quote me on that one.

Both the 600 and the 628 are strokers. Both are bigger bores as well. The 628 requires a sleeve in the jug while the 600 can use the stock cylinder. They both require splitting the cases, but the 628 needs material removed from the bottom of the case to clear the extra stroke in the crank. That's what I've been told by I guy who has had the 600 kit put in his Scrammy.
