Default Scrambler 600....FST 600

hi everyone first post, I am a member in the www.paatving.com forums, in these forums there is a member that goes by the name Fuj that has a FST 600 scrambler... I rode with him this past summer at the Allegheny National Forrest trails near Marienville, PA I can tell ya that his quad sprints away from my modded P650 like I was standing still. He actively races it in the GNCC, and from what I can tell it is a reliable power boost of epic proportions.

my wife decided that she wants to start riding so she is getting my P650 and I am in active pursuit of a 2000 and up 400 4x4 scrambler cause I miss the old two strokes of my younger days. My ideal would be a 2002 X model. soooo if anybody knows of a good one for sale within a six hour drive of PA let me know, take care-tox

This is a quote from Mickey Donlap April 2003.

"I dont have the hp numbers on the scrambler but it will feel like it doubled the hp easily. If you send your crank in to be stroked and we send you back the piston kit, sleeve and headgasket it will run you $645. Cam is $195 and requires shortening the valve guides. $100. Valve springs are $95 and port and flow is $250. If you need the cylinder and cases machined, its another $200. I am not taking on any new complete motor jobs on untill the end of july and I dont give turn around times. As far as reliability, the piston I build is about 3 oz. lighter than the stock piston so we are very easy on the rod and crank assembly. We have raced it in the cross country series two years straight with no reliability problems. It can be run on super unleaded in most places in the country but it runs better on 50/50 mix of 108 octane and super unleaded. The lead in the race gas also helps prolong the life of the motor as well as improving performance."

I think he is talking about the 630 kit.
