Default Tire upgrade #2

Ok, If I'm going to need spacers to keep stock rims so I can run the Mud lite 26x9x12 on the front of my 2004.5 Polaris Sportsman 500HO, and there is some probability of rubbing from the 26x12x12 on the back, If I were to run with an aftermarket rim such as the ITP, what size (offset) would I need to run to get me out of trouble? The stock rims are 12x6 (4+2) for the front and 12x8 (3+5) for the back. If I go with aftermarket rims, will I still need to run a spacer for the front? Where is the best place online to buy an aftermarket rim.

You should not rub anything with 26" tires. My brother inlaw has 26" swampers on his 600 and they dont rub.

you won't rub on the rear and you can't get different offsets on the ITP's....you will need the spacer on the front of the '04 to run 26x9-12's....don't need much room....although I did just talk with someone that said that the 26x9-12 didn't rub on the front of their '04....maybe just get them in and try them and then order the spacer if you need it....

Does the 2005 need a spacer in the front for the 26x9x12 Mudlite Dave?

Jeff, No spacers needed for the 2005 running 26x9-12's or 27x9-12's....
