Default '03 Predator 500 Snow Question

Well, I rode my predator in the snow yesterday and it was OK. I can go anywhere cars can go. But I was wondering something. Is there any possible way to ride on normal snow with the predator. Like, what modifications can I do to the ATV to make it go on normal snow, like in the yard, not packed down yet. Any tire ideas? Chains for tires? What do you guys use?

Do you ride your Pred on the road? You might want to go up a few teeth on the back sprocket. I don't like the maxxis on the Pred, as soon as spring gets here i'm selling mine and buying some Kenda Klaws. I don't know anything about chains.

How much snow are you talken about? My friend and I were riding his Raptor in 6 inchs of unpacked snow and he had the orignal tires on, had to ride high 2nd gear to keep moving. Also don't stop or you will get stuck.
