snowmoble airfilter for predator
#3
What are you looking for, drop in, clamp on? I think Bradracer18 has a drop in K&N for sell with the modded air box. They also make a K&N for your Intake Tube...that is if you want to get rid of your air box lid. I use my air box bottom for a splash guard. Rath Racing They are the one with the K&N Intake Tube. Which works very well.

I have a buddy that has a 04 Pred and he has a clamp on twin air filter. We do alot of trail riding and he don't have any problems with it. They run about $38.00 bucks and you can get a Outerware for $18.00 bucks. Here is where you can get them Nicholas Cycle

The biggest air filter I know about is the Hot Seat Performance filter kit that uses a huge K&N aftermarket filter (not sure if this is a snowmobile or auto filter). It requires a billet aluminum adapter that attaches to the end of the stock air duct. It flows 650+ CFM with a 108 sq. inch surface. The K&N part # is RF-1001. That might be the set-up you are talking about.

The snowmobile does filter dirt, its the same dang thing as any other K&N it just has a fine mesh cover which works great for fine dust

Ok this is the PN for the filter and the filter cover. Its the exact one I have on my bike. This filter is made for a snowmobile but works great with the sand and fine dust. Filter:SN-2550 PreFilter:SN-2550PK When you remove the airbox, you will have to put a small filter on the crank case breather hose.
Heres the link to the breather filter http://www.twobros.com/cgi-bin/shopp...ey=018-62-1010
Also www.predatorowners.com is an awsome site with a lot of info. from problems to new ideas coming out.
