Tire wheel upgrade for scrambler?
#1
I'm aware of the stock front and rear wheel size for the scrambler 500. I have a $500 credit with Rocky mountain atv and I want
new wheels and tires. I wanted to upgrade the wheel size for a better look. I dont want a big power loss. If I were to upgrade to a 12" wheel front and back
would there be any downfalls? If so what? If not, what size tires would I run on them? Remember, the machine is stock ( for now )
and I don't want any power loss. Is it better to order a wider rear rim for better handling. I own a z400, and am purchasing a scrambler 500 4x4.
I'm not use to the 4x4 and dont want to blow $ on something that isn't good. What is the best rim size, tire size combo? If stock sizes are the best to maintain
power than so be it.

Wow you must have bought alot of stuff of Rocky. How do you find out how much credit you have? I have bought alot of stuff to. I went with the ITP C-Series rims with the Kenda Klaws. You can take a look in my gallery and see my old Scrambler 400. I'm wanting to sell my Maxxis off my Pred to buy a new set of Klaws. They are a great tire.

I got the credit because I bought a Z-START clutch for my z400.
The clutch is designed to turn the z400 into a centrifical style clutch.
Basically, it doesn't stall and the clutch is no longer NEEDED. The clutch however, remains in place and still
functions like a manual clutch.
