I got a stick in there and ripped the CV all the crap. I have been lucky i think, I have 1500 miles on her and this is the only thing I will have to have replaced due to going through tons of stuff. What will this cost me?

I ripped one on mine last winter and I think it was around $18 for the boot kit. It included new clamps, grease and a boot. The boot by itself was $6. You can by some cv grease at the parts store and reuse the old clamps if you get the pliers for the clamps. The pliers were $20 from polaris, but I think you can get them cheaper from the parts store if you can come up with the part number for them. I checked for the pliers at the auto parts stores and couldn't find them, but I'm sure they could order them. They were Leslie brand or something like that.

Instead of buying the proper pliers try needle nose and pinch pliers. They worked for me on two occasions once on my SP500 and again on the wifes Camry.
