For the winter I won't be jumping at all so I decided to lower my predator. I'm not sure if I did it correctly though what I did was just adjust my preload almost all the way to the top of the shock so when I sit on it the front end has about an inch of travel. My concern is with the rear end it seems to jump around alot and doesn't seem like its lowered as much as the front end. Any suggestions or methods I can do to lower the whole quad?

 

I would love to find some lowering blocks for mine. I would like to get the hpd springs like Bradracer has....but I like to spend the money on go fast things[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

 

If you were a good welder, you could fabricate something to move your shock mounts.........but an easier way is to get the hpd spring kit(will lower 2 inches)......they are triple rate springs in front, and dual rate in back.......very plush riding too. You'd be real suprised what 2" does to your riding style, you go a lot faster on everything but strait lines(I guess it would help in drag racing too!!)........but it also will set you back about 365 bucks!! You'll be able to sell your stock springs though......

 

Haha. Well my mom just backed into my four wheeler with the Hummer so it looks like I'm broke. I'm going to put a new set of white plastics on and re-cover the seat. I'm a decent welder and I have the tools I need. Should I just make L shaped brackets or what?

 

yeah I'd just make em......out of aluminum would be the best!! How bad is your plastic?? if not real bad, and you are going to fix, take a pic of them.......I might be interested......

 

Well the rear plastics are cracked from the seat all the way down the heel guard. Front plastics are used and have scratches. If I switch out all my plastics I will take a picture of both and send them to you. Would you buy just the front plastics with graphics? If so give me a price.
