Hey Jaykers you're a funny guy.
You will find that Jim Creek is a place that is out for your ATV. It has claimed more ATVs than all other trails in Alaska combined! From flipped/rolled machines to totally lost ATVs in glacier cracks and thin river ice. I think this place is cursed and is out for anyone who dares to ride it. My last two outings there I had major mishaps; the flip & rollover on the washed out sand dunes & a two inch gash in my front tire from what I thought was a small twig. Unfourtinutely this is about the only place to ride this time of year due to all the snow.

Brambles,
I have an 03 Vinson and most of my friends have either a 500 or 700 Sportsman. I have found my Vinson to much better than both but I know it's only because of my 26" Mud Lites which are a great tire for both mud, snow, and trail. The lighter weight of the Suzuki may make it better in the snow too but IMO it's mostly the tires. I think you will be happy with 26" Mud Lites, a great all around tire and will not rob too much power either.
I've been thinking of getting a King Quad but I'm so use to SRA that I'm sure I'd roll the thing the first time I tried to slide the thing. For this reason you should never let a SRA rider take a spin on your IRS machine. With that said my 500 Sportsman friend let me take a quick spin on his and love the soft ride and that's why I'm still thinking about getting the KQ.

The ATV only rolled once. But man I think he was going faster than 20 mph. The more I look at it the worst it looks. Called the insurance co and a claims guy is coming by today I think. Oh, my bro in-law has riden a few 4 wheelers in the past but NONE of them have TRUE 4wd. I hope the insurance will put NEW everything on it. The plastic is ALL scratched up. well, down to just 1 05 500 scrambler now

Just say no when asked if someone can ride your ATV. Otherwise be prepared for the worst. This was very big subject on my Banshee board. Lots of guys want to try out your Shee to see what the big attraction is all about. You must learn to be the bad *** and Just say NO.
