i dont know much about 4 stroke ive been with 2 stroke most of my life and whats a drop in k&n never heard of it

 

A drop in K&N replaces your stock filter. And I higher cdi box will not hurt your engine, at least the one Doug sells will won't.

 

What size jet do would u run with a k&n, pipe, air box mod, and 1000+cdi

 

I'mn running a 172 1/2 main. It will probly depend on what kind of air box mod and what pipe you are going to go with. You may want to start with a 160-165 and do a plug check, then go from there.

The CDI's made a huge difference on the early models. But I'm not sure they'd be worth it on the newer models. I believe that the newer models have a much higher rev limit then the 03's and perhaps the 04's.
If you get a lot of mods done then a cdi would be worth it I believe though.

I would go with what Stryder suggested. Since your Pred is an 05, you already have the mods within your stock CDI. Open the air (exhaust and intake), and go from there.
