[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/img] Hello, I'm new to this site and actually to ATV's having just replaced my KTM 300 EXC with a 2004.5 Polaris Sportsman 500 H.O. I saw the posts about the 3 headlight conversion and the reverse override mods. My questions are; 1. My dealer said running all three lights would destroy my electrical system. I see in the thread posted by silverbullet2005 that he uses a rectifier/diode that cuts the voltage. Does this solve the problems my dealer warns of? Is this mod safe?
2. Has anyone figured out how to override the reverse override switch and still be able to control the gauge cluster without having to connect/reconnect wires? That override is a pain when your plowing.
