DGpolaris2346, I only got to plow 3 inches this morning. But it was fun anyways. Boy it sure is a lot faster than using the snow blower.

I got to plow 3-4 inches last night, and almost in 2 wheel drive, cause the 4x4 is acting up. But that's another story. All that money ur making you should get a 4X4, so much easier to push the snow. Especially if you get lots. I was having a lil troble when it got deep. Just took an extra pass to clean it up.
Anyways, have fun plowing, check my pics out, I made my plow from an old John Deere tractor plow.

LOL, you guys actually make money doing this? Boy am I missing out. But seriously, I plow my three neighbors drive because they are older and cannot do it themselves. But then again, our driveways are only 50 ft long. So it is mostly playing for me.
Have fun in the snow guys.

Vunit, thanks for the comments on the plow. It only cost me like $100 to make. Had extra steel laying around.

Flyers, sounds like a good little business idea, not a bad idea, lol. When the 4X4 is working again. Just have to compete with all the damn tractors around here.

What do you guys charge for a driveway??

For now I do like BryceGTX, plow a few of my neighbors driveways. Usually only get about $20 from the one lady, I tell her no and she insists I take it for gas money. So I do. Each driveway I do is about 200 feet long.

Well if the people get their driveway plowed by an actual plow company i tell them 10 or 15 bucks and next thing i know im plowing there driveway every time it snows instead of the plow company. But yesterday most people gave me 20 bucks to do their driveway so i guess i did pretty good.

Hey DGpolaris2346. We got about 3 inches of snow last night. It was the heavy wet stuff. Put the chains on the rear tires today just for grins. They really help when there is ice or hard pack under the snow. After using the manual lift, I think I'll stick with it. I like the ease with which I can hold it slightly off the ground to keep from digging the grass up when I push the big snow piles over the grass away from the drive.
