Top speed of the Predator should be around low-to-mid 70's. Remember that top speed isn't everything. Government regulations limit an atv's top speed to 75mph. If someone is trying to tell you that their "X" quad, stock, goes more than 75mph they are telling you a tall tale The raptor and predator are close in performance.

well, im not gonna try and promote the raptor over the pred but my friends raptor hits 80 on the pavement, before u jump all over me for saying this let me tell u that we did several GPS runs all ranging from 79.5 to 81. so if an atvs top speed is limited to 75 it must be on dirt, but that dosnt mean that some atvs are capable of much higher speeds.

In the new dirtwheels magazine the predator had a better top end but the raptor demolished it through 4th gear.

Huh I don't remember them saying the Raptor demolished it through 4th, maybe I need to read that again.

the magazine states "fourth gear readings were 68 on the yamaha and 55 on the predator, now you can see why we were makin soo many shifts on the predator" and it says the predator topped out in 5th at 73.9 and the raptor at 74.7, soo really to clost o tell on top end but i good size difference b4 that

you got that backwards, the raptor topped out at 73.9 and the predator at 74.7..top speed doesnt matter anyway its all in how fast you can get there and in the magazine they also said the raptor didnt catch up untill 5th gear..
