Default Why is it so?????

Can someone please tell me why Yami, Honda, and Suzuki have their gas tank caps vented with a hose? Why don't the AC, Polaris, and Kawis have this?

This isn't a vital question that must be answered right away, but I have been thinking about it from time to time.

Thanks in advance.

The gas tanks are still vented, but not through the cap. On my scrambler, if you remove the front plastic to gain access to the tank, the vent hose is connected to the top of the tank. I prefer it that way over the cap vented way. No hose to deal with

Thanks BBS, I never looked for a vent hose under the front plastic. Thanks again.

The Predator also has a vented gas cap.
