Default 2004.5 700 EFI Question / Problem

I have a 700 EFI and it has been a great machine. I ride it really hard and it has held up so far. A problem that I seem to have is when I am in a deep hole and the bike is at a 30 to 45 degree angle and the tail pipe is below the water. If I let the bike idle it kills and is hard to start. Is there a sensor that shuts it off because of the additional back pressure from the exhaust being under water??? Luckily with the front end being higher no water enters the engine....

there is no sensor, the only thing I can think of is that when the muffler is under water, it causes more back pressure and will change the idle.....when the machine stalls, it will such water back into the muffler and may cause it to start alittle harder.....dunno
