You guys that bought a late model "00" 500 Sportsman might want to check your main jet. A couple of months ago there was a bulletin for sluggish running machines and it said to put a richer jet in them. Well the service manuel says a 155 is stock and we pulled a late model carb a part and it had a 162 from the factory. This machine would hardly run at 6000 feet. So if you are having a little problem at altutude you may want to check it out.

I'm going to check mine. Thanks for the info. You guys on this forum are great!

BTW, ended getting the Winch for my SP500 from the dealer. He asked me to pay $125 (which he said was his program participation cost). Don't know if that was true or not, but I was happy, he was happy I was happy, and I suppose that's all that really matters.

Thanks for your help with the Winch information!

Glad you got your winch. Look for the trick new front and rear quick disconect mount kits that are coming. Can put the winch on the back and keep the weight off the front until you need it.

Hey ChopperBill

I am still fiddling with the rear brakes dragging after my brake job. Please view my posting and give some advice if there is anything left to try.
