You can use anything that is waterproof. I play in the mud alot and after every ride I clean it and grease it. The grease that I use is from Mobil. It is a blue synthetic grease. The blue to match the plastics. Just kidding! It is blue though.

I've used Mobil 1 red ... it's water proof and easy to see if its clean ... i've used this in my cars, boat, atv's and trailers. Needless to say I love the stuff.

I was just wondering cause I was at walmart and they had the blue, red, white lithium, general purpose, and (slick 50) called ONE. Just didnt know if there was any specific one that would tear up (deteriorate) the seals, rubber, etc..........

I grease mine before every ride. Needless to say, I spend a lot of money on grease. Since it's in the same gun I use on my trucks, it the same stuff I've been using on them. I just make sures it's waterproof, and hey if it matches your quad, bonus! I ride through a lot of dirt and or mud, depending on the weather. I overgrease them to make sure I'm getting the stuff out the may have worked it's way into the a-arms, swing arms etc.

I like it alot because it gave me tons more clearance. At first it bogged it down because of the size difference but I regeared it, different primary spring and it is great now. The top speed is about 50-52mph. The 25" ITP Mudlites dont look as big as most other 25's. I did not get the thick tread, I just got the standard. I really like the Trailboss and made it as capable as I could for a 2x4. If I could afford a 4x4 I would get one but as for a 2x4 utility I would not get anything else.
