Well spoRtRax450R
I hate to disagree with you but for someone looking for a Sports Quad, I couldn't see him paying $300 more for a utility (Rally).

im just saying for 3 grand the rally is the better buy

Thats a good point fishslab. But for an extra $300, maybe a Blaster might be a better choice. However, now we are in the price range of a Trailblazer. Boy, it is a never ending battle eh?

The reasons I have leaned towards the Rally are
1. My daughter is now the size of a grown woman.
2. Cheap.
3. It's big enough to let an adult use if necissary.
4. More than enough power for a beginner(or my experienced but young daughter).

I see your point fishslab. I would agree that for my wife or daughter, I would not look at either a Blaster or a Phoenix. My wife would insist on single hand brakes and an automatic.

First off, let me state that I love Polaris quads. Second, I've never even seen a Phoenix much less ridden one. But I HAVE seen the Taiwan dirt bikes they're selling at the Auto Parts Store in town. I'm not too impressed except by the price. They are alot cheaper than a comparable Jap bike. So why isn't the Phoenix? If the Phoenix was a grand or more less, it might be worth looking at. For a couple hundred, no way! I know lots of people still riding Honda Big Reds, and quite a few with old Trail Boss 250s. In 15 years, how many people will still be riding a Phoenix?

I know what you mean 95sport400. I too have seen some of those quads. Tractor Supply sells a Utility that definitely does not cut it. Too many things on it reaked cheap. However, thats not the impression I got when I looked at the Phoenix. I suspect Polaris must have armtwisted the manufacturer to get the quality up. However, I guess I can't attest to the quality of the shocks, bearings and such that might be used on the quad. So you might have a good point.
