If you are talking about the stock pipe, I would say why spend money to coat the stocker, put the money towards an aftermarket pipe

Default hate this peeling pipe!!

Last year my Hotseat Pipe started getting some surface rust on it so I took off the pipe and repainted it with some hi-temp paint. After removing the pipe I took a wire brush attachment and put it on my electric drill and went to town on the whole pipe and removed as must rust and debris as I could. After that I sprayed it down with brakeleen to removed any residue that was on it. After it dried I put on 3 coats of hi-temp spray paint (i think 500 + degree) and let it dry.

I have not had a problem with the new paint peeling off and it is nice an black still with no discoloration aside from the mud that baked on because I couldn't get if off soon enough before it dried.

Ive never had luck keeping any coatings on exhaust systems for a reasonable amount of time. Thats why I switched to stainless steel and titanium. Just let it rust.

Check with your local powdercoating shop and have them ceramic coat it.Mine is ceramic coated by a powdercoat shop.I had the Jet-Hot done on an older pipe and they are the exact same coating.
