Default Pilot screw on 34mm

I took my carb apart on my 4x4 the other day, just to clean it out. The thing is I forgot to count the turns on the air screw.
So what shud I listen for with this thing running? With the screw out 1/2 -3/4 it barely idles. Then when I go out 1.5 turns it Idles a little higher.
I rode it today for a while, pretty hard, and when I parked in front of the garage, it idled for about 5 sec. and cut off
( the screw was 3/4 out)
Thanks, Brent

Default Pilot screw on 34mm

turn untill the screw is lightly seated and screw out I think it was either 1.5 or 2 turns out. Then with machine running, screw the pilot screw out untill the idle pickes up and starts to skip, then screw in the pilot untill idle begins to drop and skip.Inbetween the two points where it started running like crap is where u want it.
