My brother was a 04.5 600 sp.He wonted me to see if any of you have had trouble with the 4x4 engaging by itself when the rear wheels are spinning? It did it a little when it was new he took it back they said they fixed it,then this winter its doin it all the time.So its tore apart at the dealers now with the warranty off.They say they are going to repalce the armature to see if that works?My brother inlaws had a hole new front end put in for the same problem.I would hope the polaris fixed this annoying problem,the thing we are worried about is what happens in the next 1000 miles to the 4x4 if they put the same parts in?I now they have lost at least two costumers over this im glad i got the 04 and the hubs it works great.Did they fix this in 05?

 

Did he change the hub fluid per polaris's insturctions?? How many miles does he have?? Was there water in the hub?? need more info.

 

they changed the fluid 3 times i think,didnt seem to be any water it either,the dealer was done all the work to it also.i seen a couple treads about a 05 sticking in 4x4,doesnt sound like its gotten any better?
