03 SP500HO, what does the foot brake do???

And it will prematurely wear out your rear brakes so use it in emergencies! I used mine on my 04 700 as an oh shi** brake when I let my neice take control. They wore out pretty quick.

Well my dealer told me that my Sportsman 90 was full-time AWD, which is why it accellerated so slow and was hard to steer (it wasn't hard to steer).

Given time, it will, like all Polaris rear brakes sooner or later, do nothing. Don't be suprised if one day you step on it and it doesn't work. A good bleeding fixes it, but if you're expecting a stop, you could be in for a suprise. The wife's Blazer is worse about this than my Boss. Could be due to the fact I've used more trees to stop than her.

I hear what your saying, but I think a good dealer should understand the equipment. Unfortunately a lot of dealers, including car dealers do not fully undertstand the functions of things and give false information to the consumers. But again, thats what is great about the internet (and this forum.) An invaluable resource to take information to the dealer for different reasons, one being to help the dealer troubleshooting your machine if it ever needs fixed.

Yep, I'd say message boards are the second best offspring of the internet, second only to email, especially helpful ones like this one.
My Jeep dealer told me the hinges on the windshield were "just for show". But with a quick look on a jeep message board I discovered the truth.
I gotta get off the computer now, I have hockey practice before school tomorrow at 5:40 . I'm not gonna make it through french if I don't go now.
